I grew up in the car business, washing cars is where it all began.  My family has a long history in the automotive industry and I have learned so much from their experiences.  My family and mentors have always taught me that success comes from making people smile and building strong relationships. I take pride being able to share these values with all of our employees.

When you walk into Grand Blanc Motorcars, we not only want you to feel welcome, we want you to feel like you are part of our family.  We focus on making all experiences personal yet professional.  My door is always open and I look forward to meeting anyone who walks in.

When I am not working, it's all about family, I love spending time with them.  We try to get on the Michigan lakes as much as possible in the summer.  Whenever, I have the opportunity, I like to travel and check out new places.  I'm an avid car enthusiast, so car show are always a good time.  I support many local charities and organizations such as the CRIM, Whaley Children's Center and Grand Blanc Schools.  My job is my passion and I am very fortunate to get to do what I love every day.

Servicing brands like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Sprinter, and Toyota is an honor.  Their goal of continuous improvement is always a top priority.  I always appreciate feedback from our customers about our business and practices so that we can focus on any changes we may need to make as well hear about the things we are doing right.  At Grand Blanc Motorcars, we understand that our customers "are" our business.  Your complete satisfaction is our #1 priority.

From a young age I was fascinated by vehicles.  I took Automotive classes in High School as a Freshman and Sophmore, eventually working my way up to actually Teaching the class my Senior year.  I then attended MSU (Go Green!), for two years, where I continued my Automotive education.  I continue to love all the challenges that come with the Automotive business.  

When I am not here at the dealership, I enjoy spending time with my wife of  23-years, Graciela, our five children, and our 16 grandchildren.  I also spend time everyday thinking of our son, Ricky, who is now in Heaven, after passing away at the young age of 25-years-old.  I take the grandchildren Hunting, Fishing, and boating.  Graciela and I spend a lot of time gardening, cutting trees, and chopping wood.  When I have some time alone, I enjoy watching old western shows.  

My simple philosophy is to treat others the way I would want to be treated.  That is why when you come and see me in the Parts Department, for Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, or Sprinter parts I will be sure to give you a fair price and great service.  I look forward to seeing you at Grand Blanc Motorcars.

I started in the business 15 years ago as a Receptionist and quickly moved up to the Finance Office, where I work to guide clients through an easy and enjoyable car-buying process.  When a client leaves my office excited about their new car, it is the highlight of my job.

When it comes to purchasing your vehicle, I make every effort to provide the best experience possible.  From offering the lowest interest rate available to making you knowledgeable of all of your options, my goal isn't to make a one-time sale; it's to make you a customer for life.

Outside of the office, my husband, Greg, our daughter and I enjoy family excursions to our cabin up north.  We also spend most of our free time with family and friends (entertaining one 4-year-old in particular, our daughter, Savanna!)

I graduated from U of M Flint last year with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. I have been at Grand Blanc Motorcars for one year now and I absolutely love it!

When I'm not at work I love spending time with my friends and family, whether it's a road trip or just spending time at home.

I love helping our customers learn everything there is to know about their new vehicles. My number one goal is for you to love your BMW or Mercedes-Benz and be able to use all of the amazing technology they have to offer.



Rick Howard, MB Auto & Fleet Consultant

After 15 years with Electronic Data Systems, I made the career change to Marine Sales.  I enjoyed representing quality products like Sea Ray, Azimut and Carver Yachts.  I find it interesting and rewarding to help people find exactly what they are looking for.  After the economic downturn, I made the decision to focus my efforts on the auto industry.  Grand Blanc Motorcars is the perfect fit for me.  We have an impressive lineup of high quality vehicles, and there is complete commitment to customer satisfaction.  

When I am not working, I am an avid reader of anything Grisham.  If I am not reading, then I am probably playing some sort of card game.  I have a keen aversion for Texas Hold 'Em.  

I am one of those fortunate people, whose passion is perfectly aligned with his career; making me the ideal person to assist in your vehicle purchase.  I am dedicated to delivering every customer the ultimate automotive experience.

Frank McAuliffe IV, MB Sales Consultant

I graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. Four year collegiate golfer plus 2-time team captain Junior/Senior years. All conference team/All-Academic team. I worked in the golf business for TaylorMade Golf Co., moved to Carl's Golfland and promoted to Trackman Master Club Fitter. Promoted from sales to store manager/club fitter at prior job at Miles of Golf in Ypsilanti, MI.

On my free time I love to play golf, spend time with my wife and family, vacations to warm climates, passion for sports, taking care of and seeing my little nephew/Godson Owen, I love dogs, walks, and exercising.

I can help customers with my work ethic and attitude. I am very confident in myself and enjoy working with different types of people. I treat people with respect and I'm an honest person. I listen well and enjoy learning something new from everyone I come in contact with.

Dave Murphy, Mercedes-Benz Sales

After 25 years of long hours managing large retail companies; I decided to come over to the high end automotive industry, after my beautiful wife recently became a doctor. I love cars, meeting new people, and building long and personal customer relationships. There is nothing better than seeing a happy and satisfied customer. The car industry is a relationship business and is a perfect fit for me.

When I am not at work I am very involved with my family. I have a wife, two sons and a daughter. I coach baseball, travel softball, Cub Master for the Cub Scouts, 2016-2017 Clarkston Schools of Instrumental Music Association President, and a professional musician. I have traveled all over the world playing my trumpet as well as working in movies and commercials. I currently play in the Stardusters Big Band. If I ever find a spare minute I also love to fish, boat, camp, ski, and vacation with my family.

In this business, it is all about relationships.  As a Consultant with Grand Blanc Motorcars I have enjoyed building strong relationships with my clients and fellow employees.  

I am the proud father of two boys, Jimi and Alex.  My sons are my life, we are very close.  Away from work, I enjoy coaching Alex's football team and listening to Jimi play drums.  We also enjoy off-roading and adventuring in different places in Michigan, such as Silver Lake Sand Dunes, Bois Blanc Island and the Traverse City area.

I have been in the retail automotive business for over fifty years.  Forty of those years have been with German Brands.  This opportunity to sell high-line luxury vehicles has given me the ability to pass on quality and satisfaction to my customers, and also a joyful way for me to earn my living.

I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Michigan - Flint in History and a Masters of Public Administration also from the University of Michigan - Flint. I have just joined Grand Blanc Motorcars and look forward to helping you find the perfect vehicle.

In my free time I enjoy biking, boating, and hiking. Basically anything outside. I also am an avid reader and I'm trying (without much success) to learn French and guitar.

When I am not working, I find real grounding with my beautiful wife, Maria, and our two wonderful children.  Our children are not little anymore and have established themselves into adults with fulfilling careers of their own.  Our son, Ryan, is a professional photographer.  And our daughter, Nicole, is an acclaimed architect in the country of Dubai.

I have been working in the automotive industry for the last 2 1/2 years.  I started at Grand Blanc Motorcars as the car porter, and soon found myself getting to know our customers by name and vehicle, as well as I learned a lot about the vehicles we sell, by being the person that stocked in the cars as they were delivered. I got involved with Sales because I enjoy meeting new people.  I, also, enjoy being around the automotive industry. 

I will do anything to make sure I get the customers business.  By that I mean I will work as hard as necessary to get my customer the best price, great service, and have an ongoing good relationship that will last through the years and through their next new vehicles.  As a Sales Consultant for Grand Blanc Toyota I feel confident that I am selling the best automotive product that I can.

I graduated from Holly! I am still fairly new to car sales; but I absolutely love it and am very excited for my future here.

I have two boys, Cameron who is 1 and Chase who is 7. All of my free time is spent with them. We love outdoor activities, sports, and games. We are a very competitive bunch. I have been with their father for 9 years!

I would say one of my best qualities is building great personable relationships with my clients. I am a very trustworthy person which makes the sales process a lot smoother for customers and for myself.


Internet Sales

Margaret Martin, Internet Sales Manager

I have worked in the automotive dealership industry for over 20 years now. Here at Grand Blanc Motorcars for 5 years. Most of my time has been spent is the Accounting and Finance areas of the dealership and now I head the Internet Department. This new position has brought new challenges and excitement to both my professional and personal life.

When I am not working, I like to spend time with my very large family. This includes my parents, numerous brothers and sisters, tons of nieces and nephews and most importantly, my daughter. My daughter and I enjoy traveling and are able to visit quite a few places with the family spread across the USA. I also enjoy participating in the Crim Festival of Races held every year in downtown Flint, volunteering at the hospital, painting and enjoying the great outdoors.

I am very much a people person and Grand Blanc Motorcars has given me the opportunity to interact with people and help them with the purchase of a great BMW, Mercedes or Toyota.

I started as a car porter at 16-years-old and worked my way up the ladder to BMW Service Manager.  I like working with people.  There is nothing better than making a "bad thing" into a "good thing" for a customer that is upset about their vehicle.  

I have been happily married to my wife, Karen, since 1989.  We have two wonderful teenage boys.  I love music and in my spare time, while not at the dealership, I enjoy playing the bass guitar and staying very active with our church in Goodrich.  

I love what I do and God has given me the ability to serve people and that is what I do best.

I've been in the automotive service business for over 28 years, as a service advisor.  Over those 28 years, I have learned that when it comes to purchasing a new vehicle, customers aren't just looking for the right car, they are looking for the right person and dealership to service all of their automotive needs.  Here at Grand Blanc Motorcars, we firmly believe in the value of a strong relationship between the customer and the Service Department.  Our goal is to foster that trust, and leave customers confident that we are here to take care of them and their car.

What I like about my job?  Definitely working around these beautiful, speedy, and advanced engineered cars.  It is a challenging yet very rewarding job.  The continuing development of Mercedes-Benz vehicles means my job will always be interesting.  

In my spare time, when I am not working at the dealership, I enjoy driving very Loud, and very old wooden boats and dirt bikes.

Since breaking into the automotive industry in February of 2015, I have had nothing but great experiences. Through years of retail customer service it was imperative I treated every customer like I would want to be treated. This created a strong sense of honesty and integrity that I consider the best part of my character in and out of work. I always liked the phrase, "you have to take a leap of faith and the trust comes after." It is so important to me that I prove this to every customer that walks into the dealership. I have a feeling it will be critical to my success in the car industry because you know I will keep you informed without bias to help make the best decision possible.

Outside of work I like to spend time outdoors. My favorite activities are fishing and golfing. The thing I like most about fishing is flipping my canoe and chasing after my gear. Perhaps it's untying fly knots on the side of the river, while watching fish surface in front of me. It may be an act of contrition but I still enjoy it. I won't say much about golf because I'm not quite sure why I keep playing. It sure isn't the 18th hole that keeps me coming back!

Although this is my first year as a Digital Marketing Manager in the automotive industry, I have a vast amount of knowledge from my time at Baker College of Flint earning my Associate's in Digital Media Design.

When I'm not at work I enjoy being active in sports. Hockey is my passion, I played for many years and even tried coaching for one season. Along with sports, I also enjoy hiking, camping, and kayaking.
